Meet Fouaad Mirza, who qualified for Tokyo Olympics final, scripted history
Fouaad Mirza, an Indian equestrian, progressed to the jumping finals of individual eventing at the Olympics on Monday, staying within the top-25 on his horse Seigneur Medicott. Mirza is the first Indian equestrian to compete in the Olympics in more than two decades. The finals will again be a jumping round where the top 25 will compete later in the day.
According to the reports, Arjuna awardee Fouaad Mirza, born in Bengaluru, has climbed to the back of the horse with his father at the age of just six months.
