Sindhu redeemed for her actions by beating the Chinese shutler He Bing Jiao. PV Sindhu's parents, P. V. Ramana and P. Vijaya, spoke to the media after their daughter won bronze in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. P. V. Ramana thanked everyone for their support and said he is thankful to the media in particular for encouraging her by displaying different clips that she deserves Gold. 'Despite the strain, she has won a medal for the nation,' her father said. 'I am overjoyed that Sindhu earned a medal and that she performed well,' her mother Vijaya remarked. 'We are extremely proud of you,' she added as she congratulated her.
