India's boxer Lovlina Borgohain, who has earned herself an assured medal in boxing in Tokyo Olympics, said that she wants to win gold for India and not to settle for bronze. Hailing from Assam state, she surprised everyone by confirming medal for India.
In an exclusive interview, Lovlina has stated that in her view winning gold medal in Olympics is ultimate. “As of now, I am preparing for the semi-final match,” she mentioned. The Indian pugilist will encounter World No. 2 Busenaz Surmeneli of Turkey in semi-final bout on August 4.
