Shilpa Shetty’s plea will affect freedom of press says HC
The Bombay High Court was hearing a petition brought by Shilpa Shetty over claimed defamatory articles published about her and her family after her husband's detention on July 19. The High Court informed Shilpa Shetty's lawyer on Friday that her client's husband is facing severe charges. According to the court, the media in India has complete freedom to print and broadcast news. The High Court will not undertake any activity that might jeopardise media freedom.
