MP Raju critical of Lakshmi Parvathi for supporting English medium in govt schools
Amaravati: YSRCP rebel MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju made satirical comments on the Telugu Academy chairperson Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi. He criticised her for supporting English as a medium of instruction in government schools being chairperson of the Telugu Academy.
The MP stated that the YSRCP government may change the academy name to Telugu Sanskrit English Basha Sangam in future. “Lakshmi Parvathi is denting the image of her husband and former chief minister NT Rama Rao, who brought recognition to Telugu language,” he mentioned. He wished that she should change her stand on introducing English medium in government schools.
