TRS MP Maloth Kavitha gets six months jail term
Hyderabad: TRS Mahabubabad MP Maloth Kavitha has been jailed for six months by the public representatives' Court for distributing money to voters during the 2019 elections. According to the reports, the Court sentenced 6 months jail and Rs 10,000 fine. It is said that a case has been filed against her at Burgam Pahad police station for allegedly distributing money to the voters.
The election flying squad caught her associate Shaukat Ali who admitted his crime in the court that he distributed the money to the voters after MP's order. After the hearings, the Court sentenced her to 6 months of jail and a Rs 10,000 fine.
