Sero survey reveals 60 percent has Covid-19 antibodies in Telangana: NIN report
Hyderabad: A seroprevalence study revealed that 60.1 per cent of people in Telangana found seropositive. Hyderabad's National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) stated that 60 per cent of people in Telangana developed antibodies. NIN conducted the fourth round of seroprevalence study in June across Jangaon, Nalgonda and Kamareddy Districts.
The study also included children aged between six to nine years. As per the reports, about 55 per cent of children were found to be seropositive and 61 per cent of adults developed Covid-19 antibodies. It is said that 82.4 per cent of seropositivity was reported among the healthcare workers.
