Farmers to protest at Jantar Mantar against three farm laws from today
New Delhi: Security tightened at Delhi's Jantar Mantar after hundreds of farmers scheduled to conduct a massive protest on July 22 against the Central government demanding to repeal the three farm laws.
It is learnt that the farmers have been permitted to hold a protest at Jantar Mantar with limited numbers not to cross 200 persons for Samyukt Kisan Morcha and six persons for Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee from 11 am to 5 pm daily till August 9. The Delhi cops are taking all preventive measures to avert untoward incidents at the protesting site. Farmers said that they will conduct a Kisan parliament.
