Maharashtra to start doorstep vaccination drive for bed-ridden from Aug 1 in Mumbai
Mumbai: The Maharashtra government is planning to start door-to-door vaccination drive in Mumbai to vaccine the elderly and bed-ridden people. According to the reports, the state government told the Bombay High Court that it has the policy to vaccinate the aged, differently-abled, and people with critical health issues, who can't step out of their houses.
Free vaccination at doorstep will start from August 1 in the city and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has already identified 3,500 people. The Maha government will vaccinate immobile people without seeking approval from the Centre.
