Covid breaches Olympics bio-bubble: Status of Indian athletes; can tournament be cancelled?
The risk of covid is hovering over the Tokyo Olympics 2020, with more than 70 individuals testing positive before of the opening ceremony on Friday. Despite being in a bio-bubble, several athletes have tested positive. Athletes at the games village are obliged to take Covid tests on a daily basis, as well as check their temperature and well-being. The Indian contingent is now undergoing a three-day quarantine since India is still classified as a high-risk country.
