Telangana government hikes land registration value, Govt releases GO
The Telangana state government issued orders on Tuesday raising the market value of lands and apartments, as well as registration fees and stamp duty, with effect from July 22, 2021. After the establishment of Telangana State in 2014, the tariffs were changed for the first time. All registrations taking place on or after July 22, 2021, will be subject to the revised prices, even if registration spaces have already been reserved and payments have been completed. The registration fees and stamp duty have been raised from 6% to 7.5 %. The lowest agricultural land value has been set at Rs 75,000 per acre. Existing agricultural land values have been increased by 50% in the lower range, 40% in the middle range, and 30% in the upper range.
