Andhra father gifts newlywed daughter 1K kg of fish, 50 types of sweets, 10 goats and other items

During Ashadha Masam, the holy month in Telugu custom, a newly married daughter got a large quantity of fish, vegetables, pickles, and sweets as a present from her father. It is an auspicious month for newlyweds.
Battula Balarama Krishna, a renowned Rajahmundry businessman, has sent 1,000 kg of fish, several kilos of vegetables, 250 kg of prawns, 250 kg of grocery items, 250 jars of pickles, fifty varieties of sweets, 50 chickens, and 10 goats to his daughter’s home at Yanam in Puducherry.
