NCP chief Sharad Pawar meets PM Modi, meeting lasts 50 minutes
NCP chief and Rajya Sabha MP Sharad Pawar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the latter’s residence in Delhi on Saturday two days ahead of monsoon session of the Parliament. Meeting between two lasted for 50 minutes. The Prime Minister’s Office has confirmed the meeting through a tweet by sharing a photo.
Sources say both might have discussed about the new Ministry of Cooperation created by the Centre which is headed by Home Minister Amit Shah. Cooperative societies play an important role in states of Maharashtra and Gujarat when compared to other states.
