Revanth Reddy paid Rs 50 crore to Manickam Tagore for TPCC chief post, alleges Kaushik
Hyderabad: The Telangana Congress suspended Huzurabad leader Padi Kaushik Reddy after his conversation with a BJP leader leaked and went viral on social media. In a dramatic turn of events, he sent his resignation letter to AICC interim chief Sonia Gandhi.
Addressing the media, Kaushik Reddy alleged that Congress MP Revanth Reddy paid Rs 50 crore to Telangana Congress affairs in-charge Manickam Tagore to get the TPCC chief post. He faulted the Congress high command for making Revanth Reddy, who joined the Congress from TDP recently, as TPCC president. In the leaked audio to the media, Kaushik was heard saying that the TRS confirmed Huzurabad by-election ticket to him.
