Sajjala comments over launch of new party by YS Sharmila in Telangana
Responding to the launch of YS Sharmila’s new political party in Telangana, AP government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said on Thursday that she had taken decision to start the political outfit in the past. Speaking to the media, he stated that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided not to expand the YSRCP in Telangana to protect the interests of Andhra Pradesh. “Sharmila took a political decision to float a new party in Telangana,” he added.
To a question, Sajjala has mentioned that the AP government had passed a resolution in the Assembly opposing privatisation of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP). “We will exert pressure on the Centre to stop VSP privatisation,” he said.
