RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat bats for Hindu-Muslim unity; Asaduddin Owaisi hits back
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday made a strong pitch for Hindu-Muslim unity at an event organised by Muslim Rashtriya Manch and said that politics can't unite people but can be a weapon to distort unity. He encouraged Muslims not to get caught in the cycle of fear that Islam is in danger in India.
Bhagwat has strongly condemned lynching in the name of cow. “People asking Muslims to leave country are not Hindus,” he stated. However, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that Hindutva is responsible for lynching of Muslim men in the country.
