Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat resigns
Uttrakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat submitted his resignation on Friday after four months he came to the power. It is said that four months ago he took charge as the CM. He said that it was right for him to resign as the by-elections could not be conducted due to Covid-19.
It is said that Tirath Singh Rawat conducted meetings with BJP leaders in New Delhi for three days and he was asked to submit his resignation. BJP MLAs in Uttarakhand will meet today to decide new CM candidate. Tirath Singh sought Governor Baby Rani Maurya appointment and he handed over his resignation to JP Nadda.
