Supreme Court adjourns hearing on AP govt’s plea seeking nod to conduct Inter exams
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday heard the petition filed by the Andhra Pradesh government requesting to hold the Intermediate examinations. The bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar and Maheshwari adjourned the further hearing to Friday and asked the state government to submit details of the exam dates, procedure to be followed, and and safety of the students.
The top court said that 34,634 rooms are required to conduct exams for the students even if the government allots one room for 15 to 18 students. Earlier, apex court remarked that the AP government should take the responsibility even a single student dies of virus.
