Maharashtra reported 21 cases of Delta Plus Variant Says Health Minister Rajesh Tope
Maharashtra: 21 Delta Plus variant (B.1.617.2.1 or AY.1) cases reported in Maharashtra and creating panic among the people and officials. The State Health Minister Rajesh Tope confirmed the news and said that Ratnagiri reported the highest number of cases in the state.
Now, the officials took the details of the 14 people to trace their travel history and tracking the details of whether they vaccinated or not. The cases reported in the samples collected from Sindgudurg, Palghar, Ratnagiri and Jalgaon. Now, the officials sent few more samples for the tests to trace the Delta plus variant.
