Milkha Singh passes away due to Covid-19 complications
Chandigarh: Four-time Asian Games gold medalist Milkha Singh took his last breath at the age of 90 on Friday due to post-Covid complications. According to the reports, Milka Singh tested negative for the coronavirus and under medical observation and passed away due to post Covid-19 complications at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) hospital.
His son golfer Jeev Milkha Singh confirmed the news. He was tested positive for Covid-19 on May 19 and admitted to the ICU of the same hospital. Prime Minister Narender Modi and President Ramnath Kovind paid condolences to his family members.
