Accounts of 3 FPIs owning Adani Group shares frozen
According to sources, the National Security Depository Limited (NSDL) has shocked the Indian Industrialist Goutham Adani. It has frozen the accounts of three Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs): Albula Investment Fund, Cresta Fund, and APMS Investment Fund. The three funds collectively own over 43,500 crore in four Adani Group companies. According to the reports, these three companies failed to provide the required informations including the inadequate beneficial ownership documentation.and thus violated the money laundering act. Reports suggest that Gautam Adani’s net worth has plunged by Rs 55,000 crore within 24 hours.
