No substantial proof to suggest children will be more affected in corona third wave: Lancet report
The Lancet COVID-19 Commission India Task Force stated a report that there is no substantial evidence to suggest that children will be a more affected or greater chance of getting ill due to the virus in the third wave. The Lancet prepared the report after an experts group comprising paediatricians from the country to investigate the issue of paediatric Covid-19 India.
The report stated that most children with coronavirus are asymptomatic and those who are symptomatic mild infections are predominant. The report said that Corona third wave may not show the impact on the children and opinioned that they are also vulnerable to the virus like others.
