Decentralisation of AP capital started soon after bill passed in Assembly: Botsa
Municipal Administration Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said on Thursday that the process of decentralisation of capital had started soon after the Andhra Pradesh Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of All Regions Bill 2020 passed in the Legislative Assembly. Speaking to the media, he stated that the Jagan government is committed to development of all three regions in the state.
Botsa has mentioned that Visakhapatnam has adequate infrastructure required for an administrative capital. He came down heavily on opposition especially TDP for obstructing the creation of three capitals by filing petitions in the High Court on technical grounds. To a question, he said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy can work from any place in the state.
