Third corona wave alert in AP-Task force committee submits report to government
A task force committee has been formed in Andhra Pradesh to submit a report on the possible third corona wave danger bells in the state. The committee has submitted 16 pages preliminary report to the state government. The task force committee has predicted that over 90% of mega and home isolation cases are likely. It noted that there might be a necessity of 36,000 beds and ICUs for 2% of people. While speaking to a media channel, Taskforce chairman Chandra Sekhar Reddy said they had prepared the detailed reports with the availability of health staff to meet the emergency of corona cases on children. He said hospitals, beds, ventilators, and medicines are available to treat the patients. Further, he said there is no scientific basis to predict that the third wave will affect the children.
'Three Super Speciality Hospitals meant for children will be coming up in the Rayalaseema, Coastal and North Andhra regions under the instructions of CM YS Jagan,' Chandra Sekhar Reddy stated.
