Telangana Cabinet meeting key decisions
The state government on Tuesday has announced the good news to government employees in the cabinet meeting that lasted for almost eight hours. It has decided to offer 30% fitment to government employees, and the PRC is likely to be implemented from this month's salaries. The clarity on HRA and other arrears is yet to be announced clearly. The state cabinet has mainly reviewed health issues and took a significant decision to improve the health condition of people. Harish Rao has been appointed to head a sub-committee to deal with it. A committee has been formed under minister Gangula Kamalakar to deal with the problems of ration dealers. Apart from approving 4,50,000 ration cards, the state cabinet decided to build new hospitals and upgrade the existing hospitals and other health centers. Diagnostic centers set up in 19 districts will be coming into operations from tomorrow. The state cabinet has also decided to increase the number of dialysis and cancer treatment centers.
The government has lifted the lockdown during the day from 6 am to 5 pm with strict guidelines. However, the night curfew with stringent measures will continue from 6 pm to 6 am for ten days.
