MP Raju requests Governors, Lt. Governors to press for repeal of sedition law
YSRCP rebel MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju on Tuesday wrote a letter to the Governors and Lieutenant Governors requesting them to discuss repeal of the sedition law in the ensuing conference of governors. He brought to their notice that he was arrested under the sedition charges for highlighting failures of the state government in implementation of welfare schemes.
In the letter, the MP alleged that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has personally targeted him. He accused AP CID police of manhandling him with sticks and rubber belts in custody. “I have already brought the matter to the notice of the President,” he stated.
