Jagananna Thodu: CM Jagan credits Rs 370 crore into the accounts of 3.7 lakh beneficiaries
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday credited Rs 370 crore into the accounts of 3.7 lakh petty vendors as part of the Jagananna Thodu scheme. An interest-free loan of Rs 10,000 was provided to beneficiaries for the second year in a row.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that he saw the hardships of small merchants during his padayatra and decided to extend interest-free loans to them. Jagan had introduced the scheme on November 25, 2020. Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and senior IAS officers were present.
