Corona third wave alert: 3 Pediatric super speciality hospitals coming up in AP
In a significant decision to provide better healthcare to the children in the state, the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to construct super-speciality hospitals in Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Krishna-Guntur districts. CM YS Jagan decided while discussing with the officials concerned ahead of the likely coronavirus third wave. The construction cost of each hospital is worth Rs 180 crores, it is learned. 'All the teaching hospitals need to develop pediatric wards', AP CM has stated.
CM Jagan has also asserted that improving the PHCs and Area Hospitals with infrastructures takes up the health care of children and their mothers if it comes suddenly.
