AP govt extends curfew for another 10 days; Relaxation hours eased after June 10
Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government on Monday extended the curfew till June 20 imposed to contain the spread of the coronavirus in the second wave. As the strict curfew was in force for the last several days, positivity rate has come down drastically and on Sunday, 8,976 positive cases were reported.
As the ongoing curfew is coming to an end on June 10, a meeting under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held on Monday and it was decided to extend lockdown after taking feedback from officials. However, curfew relaxation was extended by two more hours from June 11.
