Modi govt’s faulty policy led to vaccine shortage in India: KTR
Minister K T Rama Rao on Friday blamed the faulty policy of the Modi government for vaccine shortage in India. Talking to reporters in Hyderabad after inaugurating 150-bed ICU unit at Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) in Gachibowli, he said that the Telangana state has almost vaccinated people above 45 years.
Earlier, KTR interacted with patients undergoing treatment for the coronavirus at TIMS and also spoke to doctors. He criticised the Central government for giving permission to Indian firms to export vaccines without keeping 25 per cent as buffer stock.
