VH opposes Revanth Reddy’s name to TPCC chief post
Former Rajya Sabha member and Telangana Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao has strongly objected to Revanth Reddy’s name to the TPCC president post. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Thursday, he asked the Congress high command as to how can they consider Revanth for the top post when he is facing corruption allegations.
VH demanded the Congress top leadership to make a BC leader as TPCC chief. “If the high command is keen to give the TPCC post based on the cast equation then they can consider the name of MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy,” he mentioned. To a question, he stated that he was not aspiring to become TPCC president as I had already served.
