Cash-for-vote case: High Court rejects Revanth Reddy's petition
The Telangana High Court on Tuesday dismissed the petition filed by TPCC working president and Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy. In the plea, the petitioner said that the cash-for-vote case will not come under the purview of the ACB, and only the Election Commission can look it. But the High Court stated that the ACB has jurisdiction to probe the bribe cases in which politicians are involved. Earlier, the ACB court had dismissed the Congress leader’s similar petition. As he received set back in the High Court, the only option left for Revanth is to approach the Supreme Court.
