AP govt may extend curfew by two more weeks
The 18-hour curfew imposed in Andhra Pradesh to control the spread of the coronavirus in the second wave will be ending on Monday. The Cabinet meeting to be chaired by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday will take a decision as to extend or ease curfew.
According to the sources, the AP government is in favour of extending the curfew till June 15 and also to reduce curfew relaxation hours by two hours. The positivity rate in the state considerably reduced after curfew and Sec 144 was imposed.
