TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy face to face over Anandayya corona medicine
TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy said after completing Anandayya's corona medicine clinical trials, a decision would be taken by the state government. Reacting to media questions on Anandayya's ayurvedic medicine, YV Subba Reddy said after the central Ayush ministry's authorization only; a decision will be taken on the use and distribution of the medicine. The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) and TTD's Ayurveda College have examined the various aspects of this ayurvedic medicine, the TTD chairman said.
YV Subba Reddy said the samples tested by the state Ayush department had been sent to the central Ayush ministry for further report. He said a study on 500 persons would be made who availed the Ayurvedic medicine. Based on the feedback and other parameters of side effects etc., the Ayush ministry will conclude the report. ICMR has no role to play as the medicine involves Ayurveda only, the TTD chairman clarified.
