Vehicles seized will be returned only after lifting lockdown: DGP Mahender Reddy
Telangana DGP Mahender Reddy on Saturday personally supervised the enforcement of lockdown in Hyderabad. Talking to reporter, he made it clear that vehicles coming on to the roads after 10 am would be seized.
The DGP made an appeal to people not to come out of their houses during the lockdown. “Residents can venture out of their houses only for emergency and medical needs,” he stated. To a question, the top cop said vehicles transporting non-essential commodities would be allowed from 8 pm to 6 am next day. The seized vehicles would be released through the courts, he mentioned.
