The State Health department has also finalised the modalities for implementing the scheme in the State. According to the reports, 23 lakhs of Telangana people are going to be benefitted from this scheme. As coronavirus treatment is kept under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, people are going to be benefitted. With the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the Central government said around 1350 health complications can be treated in the government and private hospitals free of cost.
On the other hand, people are confused on how the government will choose the beneficiaries?. According to the Health Department officials, the beneficiaries will be selected not based on the ration cards but based on the social, economic population survey of 2011.
