Telangana High Court orders police not to stop ambulances at inter-state borders
The Telangana High Court on Friday struck down the circular issued by the state government. According to the circular, ambulances arriving from other states with covid patients have to enter Telangana state only after obtaining e-passes and letters confirming availability of beds in hospitals.
The High Court directed the Telangana police not to stop ambulances coming from other states at inter-state borders. It also instructed the Telangana government to issue fresh circular by modifying the present one and adjourned the hearing to June 17. The AP government also impleaded in the petition against the circular.
