High Court makes serious comments on Telangana govt for stopping ambulances at borders
While hearing the house motion petition over stoppage of ambulances transporting covid patients from other states to Telangana at inter-state borders, the High Court on Friday asked the Telangana government as to who gave them authority to obstruct the ambulances arriving from other states to Hyderabad.
The High Court expressed dissatisfaction over the circular issued by the Telangana government. The circular says covid patients from other states have to obtain e-passes from Telangana police and letters confirming beds in hospitals. But Advocate General BS Prasad informed the High Court that several states issued circulars.
