Telangana government should take responsibility for Covid deaths on borders: CPI Ramakrishna
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh CPI(M) secretary K Ramakrishna stated that the Telangana government has to take responsibility for the deaths of Covid patients on the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana border. Speaking to the media, Ramakrishna said it is inhumane to stop the ambulances carrying Covid patients to Hyderabad. He expressed grief that two Covid patients from Nandyala and Kadapa died after police denied entry.
He criticised that the Telangana government restricted the movement of ambulances even after receiving orders from the state High Court. He further stated that AP Chief Minister YS Jagan is tight-lipped over the issue.
