Ruia Hospital incident: Police arrest woman who questioned Jagan government ..!
The police took a woman into custody and later released her for questioning the Jagan government over the incident of 11 covid patients losing their lives due to low pressure in oxygen supply at Ruia Hospital in Tirupati on May 10. Her name is Hymavathi and she was an eyewitness to this incident.
Hymavathi, who is undergoing treatment for coronavirus at Ruia, came out of the hospital and spoke to TV5. She explained that her mother, who is admitted to MM ward in Ruia, also faced breathing difficulty on the same day when covid patients died.
“I will call and ask Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to come to Tirupati if anything happens to my mother,” she threatened. Hymavathi also questioned the non-availability of the senior doctors in Ruia at a crucial time. Opposition parties slammed police for taking her into custody for speaking against the ruling YSRCP government with media.
