Afghanistan: 55 killed, 150 injured in bomb blast near school
In a tragic incident, at least 55 people died and over 150 injured after an explosion took place outside a school in the Afghan capital Kabul. According to the sources, an explosion took place by a car bomb and mortars which were placed at the entrance of Sayed ul Shuhada school.
Most of the students who died in the incident were girls and the locals immediately rushed to the spot to rescue the remaining. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani blamed Taliban insurgents. The bomb explosion took place when the students of the school going to their home after completing their studies.
