Indian Medical Association fires on Centre over Corona
Indian Medical Association (IMA) asked the Central government to impose a lockdown across the nation that helps to recover the healthcare infrastructure and replenish it. The IMA stated that they were shocked to see the inappropriate actions taking by the Health Ministry to fight against the Coronavirus second wave. It said that a lockdown for 15 days across the nation will help to contain the virus. Physicians from across the nation noted that a lockdown should be imposed across the nation.
It said that it will allow the health care infrastructure to recover both manpower and material. It expressed that the lockdown will break the chain of COVID spread. IMA said that night curfews did nothing good. Corona positive cases are increasing day by day and more than four lakh cases are reporting.
