Central govt issues revised guidelines for home isolation cases
The Central government issued revised guidelines for those who are in home isolation with mild and asymptomatic Covid-19 cases. They have to wear triple layer medical mask and have to discard after 8 hours of use. The patients have to drink more water and eat liquid food to maintain adequate dehydration. One has to self-monitor blood oxygen saturation with a pulse oximeter. However, elderly patients with hypertension, diabetes, and other diseases will be allowed home isolation after evaluation of doctors. Patients deemed to be ending home isolation after ten days without fever and other symptoms.
