Prepare for corona third wave as children may get affected, Supreme Court tells Centre
The Supreme Court told the Central government to prepare for the third wave of coronavirus while hearing arguments on Thursday regarding shortage of medical oxygen in Delhi. The apex court stated that Covid-19 will have an impact on children in the third wave and asked the Centre to create buffer stock of oxygen urgently.
In the petition, the Delhi government has demanded the Centre to supply 700 metric tonnes of oxygen to meet the present needs. The Supreme Court asked the Union government to consider oxygen shortage as pan-India issue.
