AP govt to purchase 20 oxygen tankers from Singapore, Cabinet approves daytime curfew
The Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took some key decisions on Tuesday. To overcome shortage of medical oxygen, it was decided to purchase 20 oxygen tankers from Singapore. At present, the state requires 450 million tonnes of oxygen for covid patients.
The Cabinet approved daytime curfew for 14 days beginning from May 5. The RTC will stop playing inter-state and long-distance buses after 12 noon. Another decision was to write a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to allocate vaccine doses to the state at the earliest.
