A reality check of the covid situation in the country

30-04-2021 Fri 15:20

As the corona cases are multiplying on each day all across the country, the numbers of death also continue to surge in India. PM Narendra Modi has called for an emergency virtual meeting with his council of ministers. The high courts of many states will continue with their hearings as the states see a shortage of oxygen supplies.

On the other hand, many states are in a fix about the vaccine roll out starting May 1st as they struggle with short supply of oxygen. Several states have already intimated that they have no vaccines left with them to conduct the drive. However, there is some good news as more needed supplies are more likely to come in from abroad.
