Over 1,000 tested positive missing in Tirupati
Tirupati Urban police and local officials have taken up the issue of missing 1,049 positive patients seriously and launched a hunt to trace them. At the time of testing, they have furnished wrong mobile numbers and fake residential addresses. After they tested positive, local staff could not reach them over mobiles.
Meanwhile, Tirupati Municipal Commissioner Girisha has appreciated the Chamber of Commerce for taking decision to close shops after 2 pm. “About 75,000 persons, who are above 45 years, were vaccinated in the temple city,” he mentioned. The civic chief also spoke about various measures taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
