Maoists derail passenger train in Chhattisgarh
CHHATTISGARH: In a shocking incident, Naxals derailed a passenger train between Bhansi and Bacheli in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada on 23rd April. According to the sources, around 30 passengers were on board. Police shifted all the passengers safely to their houses. It is learnt that District Reserve Guard jawans deployed to rescue the passengers.
Naxals uprooted the train tracks and removed the connection between the engine and coaches. Earlier, 22 jawans killed in an encounter that took place between security forces and Naxals on 4th April.
