Centre responsible if oxygen shortage arises in Telangana: Eatala
Health Minister Eatala Rajender said on Thursday that the Central government will be responsible if oxygen shortage arises in Telangana. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, he lambasted the Centre for differential pricing of the Covid-19 vaccines.
The minister flayed for fixing Rs 400 per each vaccine dose supplied to states when the Central government is securing the same for Rs 150. To a question, Eatala mentioned that the Telangana government had placed order for 4 lakh Remdesivir injections but received only 21,551 from the Centre. “Telangana needs 260 metric tonnes of oxygen every day,” he added
