AP govt prepared action plan to overcome oxygen shortage for corona patients
The AP government has prepared an action plan to control the shortage of oxygen needed for the critical patients undergoing treatment for the coronavirus at various hospitals in the state. At present, officials are expecting 80 to 100 tonnes of oxygen required to meet the needs of patients.
Officials have forecasted that the need of oxygen may go up to 200 tonnes if positive cases reach peak level. The state government has decided to procure oxygen from four places keeping geographical location of the state in mind. They are Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, Ballari, and Chennai.
